Vocal The Consell de la Generalitat Valenciana has appointed Mª Emilia Adán García, dean of the National College of Property, Commercial and Movable Property Registrars as the new president of the Social Council of the Universitat Valènciana.This agreement has been published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana today.The new president of the Social Council of the University was born in Segorbe (Castellón) and graduated with an extraordinary award in Law from the University of Valencia. At the University, he also obtained the Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in Law.Property and Commercial Registrar in the 1988 competitions, she has performed her duties in the property registries of Viver (Castellón), Gandía, Manises (València), Segorbe and Nules (Castellón), in addition to the city of València.Mª Emilia Adán has been Director of the Center for Registry Studies of the Valencian Community and member of the Commission of the Protectorate of Foundations of the Valencian Community and of the Forum for Justice of the General Council of the Legal Profession.She was president of the CONVIVENTIA Association until 2017.In 2010 she was elected dean of the College of Property, Commercial and Personal Property Registrars of the Valencian Community, and was re-elected dean of the National College of Property, Commercial and Personal Property Registrars, a position she currently holds.
